UMM .. I don’t rly know how to explain how i draw clothes.. something like this?
i usually just draw the clothes directly .. which isn’t the best way to do things bc the shape of the clothes will be affected most by the body underneath. It’s better to draw the body and conform the clothes to it!
a lot of people have asked me how i do lighting so i made a tutorial, im sorry if it is incoherently written or if the steps are vague„ if u have questions feel free to ask!! there are probably easier ways to do this but im still learning ps lmao
i also forgot to mention that when im done with everything i add an extra overlay layer to set mood/shadows better (new layer on top of every other layer>color bucket with selected color>blending options>overlay)
i remembered right before i pressed post that i forgot to mention shadows ok basically do steps 1-5 but with a dark color (dont use black) and erase the opposite side from the light, then set the layer to overlay

So, this is a tutorial where I intend to show you a program really cool. This program allows you to see how the psd looks like before you open. In other words you will see your psds like you see your images.
Do you ever get tired of drawing every single little star in your amazing starry sky background? Well so do I! So here I am with a new brush setting for SAI (some SAI users may not have the custom content available here and I’m afraid I can’t remember where I found them all)
And here’s a tutorial on how to use it
Step 1: Fill in your background with a spacey colour, I personally prefer very very dark blue.
Step 2: Make a new layer, set it to luminosity and fill it with white, or whatever colour you want your stars to be
Step 3: Select your new brush and click the little square next to the main colour swatches to turn it into an eraser and start erasing the white layer. If you’ve done it correctly, your result should be similar to mine!
